AID Atlanta
The mission of AID Atlanta is to reduce new HIV infections and improve the quality of life of its members and the community by breaking barriers and building community, including providing comprehensive HIV testing, prevention education, and support services while working to reduce health disparities and promote health equity.
We take a four-pronged approach:
Reducing new HIV infections:
This is a core focus, achieved through various programs, including testing, prevention education, and promoting access to preventive medications like PrEP.
Improving quality of life:
AID Atlanta offers a comprehensive range of services, including medical care, mental health support, and assistance with overcoming social barriers such as housing and food insecurity.
Breaking barriers:
AID Atlanta recognizes that individuals may encounter various challenges in accessing healthcare and support. We work to remove these barriers through programs designed to address specific needs.
Building community:
We work to foster a supportive environment and create spaces where individuals can connect with others, access resources, and feel a sense of belonging.
