4 decades ago there was a brief report about a gay cancer that we now know as AIDS. I was 13, gay, and terrified. I didn’t know what would happen to me. I didn’t think I would live past the age of 27. I figured that maybe if we all worked really hard then maybe we’d beat this.
I wish the world had responded then like it did to COVID19. Maybe we wouldn't have lost 33 million people.
I have spent the last 32 years working to beat this virus. I’ve slowed down some, but I am still at it. I still believe that maybe if we all work really hard we can beat this. And, I’m still walking, Mario!
I ask for your support for Team AID Atlanta for AIDS Walk Atlanta.
