Hello, everyone!
I'm walking again this year in my 18th annual AIDS Walk. We're back in Piedmont Park--thank goodness--on Saturday, September 25th. With your support we can help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and provide critical social services and healthcare for people living with HIV.
In the United States 13% of persons infected with HIV are unaware of their status. In Georgia the concentrations of HIV/AIDS cases are strongest in Fulton, Dekalb and Clayton Counties, and metro Atlanta has the third-highest HIV rate of major US cities.
Donations to the AIDS Walk will help on-going efforts by Positive Impact Healthcare Centers to increase HIV testing in high-risk communities to ensure that undiagnosed people living with HIV are identified, informed of their status, and assisted with access to HIV medical care, medications, nutritional care and other support services.
Please support me in this effort. Your gift will help to save lives right here in Atlanta from the devastation of HIV/AIDS. To make a donation, click on the Donate Now button in the upper right corner of this page. Many thanks for supporting me!
If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
