Hello and thank you for visiting my AIDS Walk Atlanta home page. 

As many of you are aware, I serve on the board of Jerusalem House, currently as Vice Chairman.  Next year I will have the privilege of becoming Board Chair for the next two years.  Jerusalem House is the largest provider of housing for families and individuals impacted by HIV.  The last few years have been difficult for the agency due to Covid, inflation, and rising rents in the greater Atlanta area.  It is become increasing difficult to find housing for residents due to the limited supply and 25% plus increase in rents.  Each of us has experienced the increasing cost of food and energy costs; now think of the impact on someone with little income and are homeless.  Despite all these headwinds, not a single one of our clients has gone unserved.  

Once a year I participate in AIDS Walk Atlanta to support Jerusalem House.  Jerusalem House is fortunate to be a beneficiary of the walk, and every dollar donated goes straight to the organization.  Even more exciting, AIDS Healthcare Foundation has agreed to match every donation, dollar for dollar.  $100 becomes $200.

Last year we (those I am sending this email to) raised $15,000 for Jerusalem House.  You donated $3,700, I matched that donation, and then AHF matched our combined donation.
