Once again, we are walking to support Positive Impact Health Centers (PIHC). This metro Atlanta nonprofit provides the community comprehensive, evidence-based, specialty care through medical services, mental health counseling, addiction treatment, support programs, and prevention and testing services. In their first year (1993), Positive Impact provided 135 clients affected by HIV/AIDS with free mental health services. Last year, Positive Impact Health Centers continued to serve OVER 9,000 clients by providing culturally competent mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment and risk reduction services (to name a few) to the HIV/AIDS affected community....free of charge. As you can see, the need for what Positive Impact Health Centers does each year has grown tremendously and as a non-for-profit agency, supporters like you are crucial to the success of the programs at PIHC. In addition, over 93 cents of each dollar you donate supports direct client services, which speaks volumes about how your contribution is invested!
Still, in 2025, stigma leads to a fear of testing, taking meds, starting recovery, enrolling in counseling, and engaging in HIV medical care.
Thank you for helping us move the community forward in creating a world without stigma and fear!
