I am honored to take part in this year’s AIDS Walk Atlanta and to lead a team that is raising funds for Georgia Equality and the fight against HIV. This cause means so much to me both personally and professionally. As a board member of Georgia Equality and as a trans woman in recovery, I know firsthand how stigma, discrimination, and systemic barriers impact LGBTQ people and people living with HIV.
Georgia Equality has been on the frontlines for decades working to change laws, expand access to healthcare, and build a safer, more equitable Georgia for all of us. Every dollar raised through AIDS Walk supports that work while also providing critical funding for local HIV and AIDS service organizations.
I am passionate about this fight because I believe that no one should face HIV alone. We deserve a Georgia where equality is real, healthcare is accessible, and our communities are supported with dignity and compassion.
I invite you to join my team or donate if you are able. Your support will directly impact the lives of thousands of Georgians and help us move closer to a future free from stigma and full of equality.
If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
