Welcome to Georgia Safe Schools Coalition AIDS Walk Atlanta Team Page!
We are a coalition of teachers, counselors, parents, students and community organizations working together to create safer schools for queer and transgender students in Georgia. We know that in Georgia, young people under the age of 25 are disproportionately affected by HIV. We are committed to walking and running for a cause to help raise awareness and find a cure. We invite you to join us for an amazing day at the 5K fundraising run/walk!
As a team, we are passionate about raising awareness and funds to make a difference in the fight against HIV and AIDS, particularly in light of the impact on young people. We’re working to bring attention to this pressing issue, educate and inspire our community to work together, and end the epidemic once and for all.
