Hello, My name is DeWayne!  I would like to thank you for visiting my AIDS Walk Atlanta Fundraising Page. Every year I run in support of AIDSWalk/5K!! I have been working in the HIV prevention field at AID Atlanta for over 20 years and despite the wonder scientific advances in HIV medicine and technology that have come into existence during that time, there still is a tremendous need to increase awareness and continue the support of organizations such as AID Atlanta,INC. that work  to keep people living with HIV virally suppressed ( meaning they can't transmit the virus !! ) as well as provide HIV prevention support, such as PrEP ( a daily pill or an every two month or twice a year injectable option that help prevent someone from contracting HIV). Every dollar of your donation goes back into supportive services and help with addressing food insecurity ,homelessness,and other social determinants of health disparities.
