I donated to the AIDS Walk because this fight is personal for me. I work with our people every day blacks folks who are carrying stigma, silence, and stories the world doesn’t always make room for. I walk for the ones who are still here, the ones we’ve lost, and the ones who don’t have the strength to advocate for themselves yet. I give because our community deserves visibility, dignity, and care. And if my contribution helps even one person feel seen, supported, or less alone, then that’s a step worth taking.
