Every day, I pray to make a difference. I pray that my life will have meaning and I will have given more than I have taken, including love. We have lost so many that we love who didn't get to live to old age, hell they barely made it into their 20's and 30's! I have lived in a world where HIV/AIDS has existed for closing in on FIFTY YEARS. It has taken so many beautiful souls before they could reach my age. How many beautiful lives have we lost??
My beloved Beau and so many others battled this insidious virus. AIDS is not over, people in our community are still suffering and still dying, For the countless lives lost before 1996 and for those who we have lost for being long time warriors of this dreadful disease. Please help me in my quest to raise $2500 for much needed community resource.
The fight is far from over, so we keep pushing forward. Give what you can, A DONATION IS A DONATION, regardless. If possible, I humbly request a donation in the amount of $54. That represents my age and an age so many didn't reach and for those who survived, an age many never thought they would see, myself included. If $54 is to much, then give what you can and let us keep showing up and doing the work removing the stigma and shame from our brothers and sisters who live with this deadly virus every day.
Thank you for supporting me in this fight and for remembering those we have loved and lost.
Jason
