Black Doulas of Georgia

Join Team Black Doulas of Georgia in support of the Center for Black Women's Wellness!

Studies show that Black women are three times more likely to die due to childbirth complications than their White counterparts. This statistic is one of the many reasons why some choose to become a birth worker.

In light of the state of reproductive justice and birth equity in the South, it's important to amplify organizations like CBWW that are doing the work to make sure birthing people are whole, healed, and well! With a passion for educating and empowering Georgian families by offering resources, support, and tools needed to make informed decisions, Team Black Doulas of Georgia walk with those who are in support of championing women's wellness and maternal health, no matter the race or ethnicity.

For more than three decades, the Center for Black Women's Wellness has created a legacy built on trust, community, and ethical care. Programs like Maternal & Child Health and the Wellness Clinic & Education provide vital prenatal and postpartum support to those that are uninsured or underinsured. It's because of this that we choose to walk for the women and families that can greatly benefit from the services CBWW has to offer.

We invite you to join us by registering for our team today! Thank you in advance for your support!
