I am excited to share that AIDS Walk Atlanta is back this year on Saturday morning, September 26 in Piedmont Park. Georgia Equality is honored to be selected as a beneficiary once more! Every year, this important event brings together community members with a shared passion for improving the lives of the nearly 60,000 Georgians living with HIV. All of the funds raised go directly to local HIV/AIDS organizations, including us.

I am proud to serve as a board chair of Georgia Equality, the state's largest LGBTQ advocacy organization. During a time where we are facing an unprecedented scale of anti-LGBTQ attacks, violence, and hateful rhetoric, our advocacy work has never been more critical.
